Advice & Information Worker: Lynsey

The Cyrenians Advice & Information Service is administered by our Advice & Information worker, Lynsey.  Lynsey can assist our service users with advice on

  • Housing Issues
  • Benefits
  • Assessment for referral to Housing Support
  • Referrals to other vital external agencies and
  • Providing access to the Street Alternatives Project.

Our Street Alternatives Project is for those who are roofless or have no fixed abode.  It is run by volunteers and therefore is a limited service.  Our Advice & Information Worker is responsible for the issue of cards required to attend Street Alternatives and service users are advised to renew their cards in good time.

No appointments are necessary for service users to attend the Advice & Information Service with Lynsey; however if there are many service users waiting we will advise individuals to return at alternative times.  The last time a service user will be admitted to meet with Lynsey is 15 minutes prior to the end of service times.

If you have any further queries or are unable to attend in person please do not hesitate to contact Lynsey on 01224 625732.

"A lot of people don't realise how lonely and isolated homeless people can be. The Cyrenians are like a family for them and try to provide safe, warm, and comfortable places for them."
