Belhelvie Church of Scotland
Rev. Paul McKeown, Minister, Belhelvie Church of Scotland handed over a cheque for £4,300 to the Cyrenians at their Nativity Service on Sunday, 21 December 2008.
The congregation has been raising the money over the past few months through a range of fundraising events to help local homeless people get a better in their new homes by providing them with starter packs.
Paul Hannan, Chief Executive said "The hard work of the congregation is very obvious in raising such a marvellous amount. Their efforts will ensure that many people will get real practical help when they are moving from the streets to their first house."
