The Cyrenians’ Chief Executive, Paul Hannan, said “We are really delighted that so many people are digging deep into their pockets to help local homeless people. We wondered whether the credit crunch might have had a negative impact on donations this Christmas but it appears not to have had. The kindness of local people will ensure that all our clients will be able to enjoy the Christmas and New Year period despite all their other difficulties.”

He added, “We would like to thank all those who have helped us at this time and throughout the year. Your support has been marvellous.”
