Integrated Community Drug Rehabilitation Service(ICDRS)

Integrated Community Drug Rehabilitation Service

The Cyrenians take the lead in a unique partnership between 4 voluntary organisations which provide community based drug rehabilitation support to individuals within Aberdeen City. Established in 2004, the service offers people a package of coordinated support and specialist interventions around drugs, housing, employment and training.

The project is run in partnership with Aberdeen Foyer, Drugs Action and Phoenix Futures. The ICDRS staff team work in close collaboration with social workers, GPs, specialist nursing staff and other agency staff within their respective organisations to ensure that clients have access to the 'right services at the right time'. Many successful outcomes have been achieved for those that have found it difficult in the past to move on from drugs.
