Have fun and do good during your summer holidays

We'll all be spending a little more time at home than normal this summer.

But that doesn't mean your summer can't be fun-filled - we've lots of activites to help you stay entertained, keep fit and do good over the warmer months.

1. Learn about homelessness with Lego

Read Robert’s story and learn about how people who are homeless have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

He’s a young man with a big problem and you can help him by building the things he needs to get by and make a new life out of Lego. Find the story and share your creations here.

2. Take on a fierce, football-themed team exercise challenge

We might be playing less football but that doesn’t mean we can’t all still celebrate the beautiful game.

Put together a team and virtually travel 555 miles to all 12 Scottish Premiership stadiums. Race back home again to Pittodire and raise money as you go.

For wee footie fans, aim for 55.5 miles, and walk, run, cycle, climb or jump to the final whistle.

3. Pamper yourself at a Home Spa Night

Have a full-on spa night from the comfort of your home.

Use our curated video with art, yoga, mindfulness and skincare speecialists to relax, recharge those batteries and treat yourself - it's been a bit of a bumper year!

4. Set up a community collection point

Now, more than ever, we need people in the community to help us collect food and toiletries for people in need.

Grab a box, pop it in your garden or stairwell, and let your neighbours know that this summer you're collecting for Aberdeen Cyrenians.

We need:

-Tinned and dried food

-Shampoo

-Shower gel

-Shaving foam

Aberdeen Cyrenians will pick up everything you've collected once you're ready - let us know by contacting the Fundraising Team by email or call 0300 303 0903.

5. Organise your own at-home Big Summer SleepOut

Build yourself a shelter, spend the night in your sleeping bag, and learn what it might be like to be someone without hot water and a comfy bed.

Choose a date to have your outdoor adventure or try your best to get cosy in an indoor shelter, and get sponsored to help people who are homeless.
